Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar announced his country's readiness to cooperate with Damascus in oil and gas exploration in Syria. During a press conference in Damascus with Syrian Minister Mohammad Al-Bashir, he confirmed that private Turkish companies will conduct seismic surveys and exploratory drilling in Syrian land and maritime areas.
