Cypriot Embassy Comments on Lebanese Passports

Starting from September 1, 2026, only Lebanese biometric passports will be accepted when applying for visas to Cyprus, following the Lebanese General Directorate of General Security's decision to cancel non-biometric passports. Holders of valid, long-term Cypriot visas on non-biometric passports may continue to use them, provided they present the cancelled non-biometric passport along with the new, valid biometric passport when traveling.
