The Lebanese Internal Security Forces have succeeded in apprehending nine girls of Brazilian, Uzbek, and Moldovan nationalities involved in a prostitution network operating in the Sodeco area of Beirut. The network was functioning within a structured framework led by two individuals known by the aliases "Julia" and "Max." The detainees were found in possession of sums of money resulting from their prostitution activities. Additionally, the hotel owner and two of his employees were detained after it was confirmed that they were aware of the prostitution activities taking place on the premises. The arrested individuals have been brought before the judiciary. This operation is part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts to combat human trafficking and illegal prostitution in the region.
