Civil Defense Battles Multiple Fires

Civil Defense personnel were able to extinguish several fires in different areas across Lebanon, including fires in the forests of Maksousa, Al-Mariqat, Jdita, and Qabb Elias in Bekaa, as well as a fire in Mount Jib Jannin. Additionally, fires occurred in the regions of Deir al-Mukhlis, Bsary, Al-Dahr farms, and Zaarouria. During these operations, three women were rescued from their homes threatened by heavy smoke, and the fires were brought under control to prevent their spread. The Civil Defense teams continue to monitor the affected sites to prevent the recurrence of fires, especially given the challenging weather conditions and the increasing number of incidents. Investigations are also underway to determine the possible causes of the fires.
