Public sector and military salary transfers

The Lebanese Ministry of Finance announced that it has completed transferring the salaries of all public sector employees and military personnel, as well as the pensions of retired civilians and soldiers, to the Central Bank. Starting Friday, August 28, employees will be able to withdraw their salaries from their accounts at private banks.
