Security forces face violent gang

The Lebanese Internal Security Forces have identified the suspects behind a gang responsible for thefts carried out inside shops and stores through breaking and entering in various areas of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, particularly in Hazmiyeh. One member of the gang, M. Sh., a Lebanese born in 1996 with a prior criminal record, was arrested in Al-Labua. He was found in possession of an assault rifle and 13 rounds of ammunition. He admitted to committing several thefts using multiple vehicles, including a black Golf, a gray Honda, and a white van, in areas such as Hazmiyeh, Dakkouné, and other roads. He also indicated that one of his partners conducted a theft in Saida. Legal measures are underway to apprehend the remaining members of the gang, and investigations continue to uncover more individuals involved.
