His Beatitude Patriarch Mar Ignatius Joseph III Younan has decided to waive the rent fees for the residents of the Mar Efram residential complex in Ashrafieh – Beirut for the months of October and November 2026. This measure aims to ease the financial burdens on families amid the challenging economic conditions, especially as the new school year approaches. This initiative is part of a series of concessions previously granted to the complex's residents in 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Additionally, the Syriac students have been excused from tuition fees for the 2026-2027 academic year at Lycée du Museum and Deir Shouf School, in an effort to support education during these difficult times.
