Parliament Approves Real Estate Automation
The remaining provisions of the law project to automate real estate transactions, especially those related to notaries public, were approved during a session held by the relevant parliamentary committee chaired by MP Tony Frangieh. The meeting was attended by the committee rapporteur Elias Hanouch, Ynal Salih, Saeed Al-Asmar, and Razi Al-Haj, as well as MP Adnan Traboulsi. Present at the gathering were representatives from real estate departments, the Ministry of Finance, notaries public, and a legal expert. After discussing the observations and listening to the relevant parties, the remaining provisions of the law were adopted with the aim of digitizing and improving real estate transactions in Lebanon, to facilitate procedures and reduce bureaucracy.
