836 Enforcement Notices for Violators of Food and Generator Rules

The Consumer Protection Directorate in Lebanon carried out 17,223 field inspections until September of this year and issued 836 violations, mainly related to electricity generators, consumer goods, and food products, as part of its efforts to regulate prices and ensure the safety of materials. It also received 1,678 complaints from citizens via the electronic application, responding to 180 of them within one week. The ministry urges consumers to report any violations through the available channels to ensure market oversight and protect consumers' rights.
