President Aoun: Supporting Family Resilience and Economy

The delegation of the World Central Kitchen organization, led by Javier Garsia, reported that the organization has expanded its activities in Lebanon over the past three years. Since October 2023, it has served approximately 22 million hot meals through nine kitchens in the south and Bekaa, in cooperation with local organizations, municipalities, and restaurants. President Joseph Aoun emphasized the importance of supplementing humanitarian efforts with support for the local economy, particularly the agricultural sector, farmers, and small businesses, in order to strengthen family resilience and stimulate a sustainable economic cycle in the affected regions.
