Prime Minister's Office Denies Salam and Robiou Comments

The Office of Prime Minister Nawar Salam has confirmed that the statements attributed to him and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in their meeting minutes in Washington are false and were not made during the meeting. It called for reliance on official sources. Salam emphasized the need to activate the trilateral framework to achieve Israel's withdrawal from Lebanese territories and to restrict weapons to state control, with a clear timetable for implementing these commitments. Official statements reaffirm U.S. support for Lebanon in restoring its sovereignty, and any other positions attributed to them outside this framework are incorrect.
