White House Deciphers Chinese Official Code

A report revealed that one of the most senior Chinese security officials, Zhou Hongshu, made his first public appearance during high-level diplomatic events, including attending a banquet at the White House where both his name and official position were listed among the guests. It is believed that he is the director of the Central Guard Bureau, a secret agency similar to the American Secret Service, responsible for protecting China's top leaders. Zhou's public appearance possibly reflects a greater role for him in the leadership arrangements ahead of the Communist Party’s National Congress. This marks the first official confirmation of his position, which had remained obscure until now, highlighting the importance of his role and his potential influence on China's politics and security in the future.
