Finance Ministry extends share conversion deadline

Finance Minister Yassin Jaber announced an extension of the legal deadline for converting bearer shares into registered shares until December 6, 2026. The purpose of this extension is to allow companies and shareholders who have not yet completed the process to finalize the necessary legal procedures before the new deadline expires. This measure comes in response to comments regarding provisions that prevent the issuance of bearer shares and mandate their conversion into registered shares within specified periods, with the deadline being reset after previous extensions. The minister encourages relevant parties to take advantage of this extension to complete their procedures. Details can be viewed on the official website of the Ministry of Finance.
