Saudi Arabia has not approved Israeli evacuation flights
Reports indicate that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu conducted an assessment of the security situation, but he did not receive approval from Saudi Arabia for the Israeli Air Force's evacuation flights. Concerns were also raised regarding the "Fly Dubai" aircraft incident, with reports suggesting that one of the pilots onboard attempted to down the plane, and that the Omani co-pilot was questioned in Saudi Arabia. A planned field visit by Netanyahu to the south was canceled amid escalating security tensions, as Israel prepares for security consultations. Reports further indicate that Israel dispatched military aircraft to Saudi Arabia to retrieve the flight passengers, and that the incident may have been a terrorist act or carried significant security implications.
