Passport electronic fingerprint between Al-Hijjar and Shaqir

Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmed Hajar, received a briefing from the Director General of General Security, Major General Hassan Shkair, regarding the security situation in Lebanon. The briefing also focused on the launch of the electronic fingerprinting service for Lebanese passports in Detroit and Washington, D.C., in the United States. This initiative is a step to facilitate administrative procedures for Lebanese abroad, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. Additionally, efforts to improve the services of the Vehicle Registration Directorate were discussed.
