Netanyahu leverages plane incident for politics

The article discusses the incident involving the "Fly Dubai" airplane that made an emergency landing in Tabuk after the captain and co-pilot were injured. It comes amid a political and media reaction in Israel regarding the possibility that the incident was a terrorist act linked to a security escalation ahead of the Israeli elections scheduled for October 27. Saudi Arabia confirmed that the plane was forced to land due to internal injuries, while reports also stated that an individual of Omani nationality on board the aircraft attempted to cause harm, despite the Emirates airline denying such claims. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu used the incident in his election campaigns, labeling it a terrorist act. Meanwhile, the opposition criticized this stance, describing it as "cheap political tricks," and emphasized that there is political manipulation surrounding the incident.
