Iraqi Hezbollah halts operations to discuss weapons

The Iraqi Hezbollah Party announced a halt to its military operations and the start of new negotiations regarding weapons, following the conclusion of the international coalition's mission in Iraq and the withdrawal of its forces from Erbil Base. The Secretary-General of the Kata'ib Hezbollah, Abu Hussein Al-Hamidaoui, confirmed that all mobile logistical operations have been completely halted and called for the establishment of a permanent agreement to ensure everyone's rights concerning weapons. He emphasized the need for a unified decision on matters of peace and war. This comes at a time when the United States officially announced the end of the international coalition's mission to combat ISIS in Iraq, with Iraq taking full responsibility for its security and stability, while continuing security cooperation within the framework of the law. The statements also indicated that some armed factions have disarmed and participated in civilian activities, while others have refrained from handing over their weapons.
