Ministers Adjust Gasoline Allowance

Minister of Information Paul Murkous announced that the Council of Ministers approved the establishment of the Higher Council for Special Economic Zones and Technological Industries. They also agreed to cancel some functions within the Ministry of Health as part of reforms. Additionally, the transportation allowance was adjusted to be equivalent to the value of five liters of gasoline daily, with a minimum of 500,000 Lebanese Liras and a maximum of 800,000 Liras. Meanwhile, the council rejected the proposed cancellation of a 300,000 Lira fee suggested by the Forces of Lebanon ministers, and called for the preparation of the appropriate legal formulation.
