Iran Gets U.S. War Proposal Reply

The Associated Press reported that Iranian officials received an official response from the United States regarding Tehran's proposal to end the seven-month-long conflict, which was previously rejected by U.S. President Donald Trump. Iran had suggested opening the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for the lifting of sanctions, but Washington quickly rejected the offer, deeming that Iran is attempting to strike a deal because it is in a difficult position. At the same time, the U.S. Department of the Treasury announced new sanctions targeting Iranian and international individuals and companies to support Iranian military supplies, as part of a campaign to cut off funding lines to Tehran.
