Labeed condemns Israeli extremism and harm to Gaza children

The article addressed statements made by Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid, in which he acknowledged the extremism of some Israelis and their support for killing Palestinians in Gaza, including infants, out of the belief that all inhabitants—even children—could become terrorists in the future. Lapid criticized remarks by some Israeli officials, such as calls to use nuclear weapons against Gaza and statements that would lead to the starvation of civilians, reaffirming that dismissing ministers who advocate such rhetoric is necessary to preserve Israel's image. He also expressed his opposition to policies of severing relations with countries that criticize Israel, considering that such measures do not serve its interests, and that closing embassies or recalling ambassadors is unhelpful.
