Lula and Flávio Bolsonaro finish campaigns before close vote

The presidential election campaigns of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and his opponent, Jair Bolsonaro, have concluded on the eve of the first round of voting, which is expected to be a closely contested race. Lula expressed confidence in winning outright in the first round, while Bolsonaro urged his supporters to secure the victory. Polls indicate a very close race between the candidates, with a likelihood of heading to a runoff scheduled for October 25, amid discussions on sovereignty issues, rising living costs, and security concerns.
