Russia confirms strikes on Kyiv and Odesa

Russian forces have bombed the northern Kyiv bridge that extends over the Dnieper River, resulting in significant damage to the infrastructure. The Russian ministry justified the attack, claiming it targeted facilities used by Ukrainian forces to transport equipment and military weapons. Kyiv's mayor confirmed that one of the strikes directly hit the bridge, while authorities continue to assess the damage and the possibility of imposing additional traffic restrictions. Attacks on the bridge have recurred over the past days, using drones and precision weapons, aiming to disrupt the transfer of Ukrainian military personnel and equipment.
