Al-Maliki Supports Yemeni Forces to Counter Houthi Threat

Lieutenant General Turki Al-Malki, the official spokesperson for the Coalition Forces, affirms the Coalition's full support for the Yemeni Armed Forces in confronting the Houthi militia, which is considered terrorist and obstructs security and stability in Yemen and the region. He pointed to the Houthis' targeting of the holy capitals of Mecca and Medina, as well as other civilian targets in Saudi Arabia, in addition to their attempts to attack ships in the Red Sea. Al-Malki emphasized Saudi Arabia's right to defend its sovereignty and protect itself from Houthi threats, considering that continued hostile actions pose a threat to regional and international security, especially maritime navigation and global trade. He also reinforced Saudi Arabia's full support for Yemen until its institutions are restored and the Houthi threats to regional stability are eliminated.
