Khalaf warns ongoing crisis persists

MP Mellhem Khalaf emphasized that maintaining the current situation in Lebanon will keep the country trapped in a cycle of crisis. He underscored the importance of making fundamental decisions to complete the state-building process and to provide reassurance to citizens. He pointed out that Israel has no interest other than destroying Lebanon, and that a solution requires building a just state that ensures control over illegal weapons and achieves internal and external balance. He called on all parties to make concessions and come together in the interest of Lebanon, stressing the necessity of compelling Israel to withdraw from Lebanese territory. He warned that entering a long waiting phase could lead to ongoing frustration and negative consequences for the people.
