Emirati investigation uncovers Fly Dubai plot

The investigations reveal that a flight assistant on Fly Dubai, an Omani national, had planned in advance an attack during a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, with the intent of destroying the aircraft. He had previously intended to carry out the attack during an earlier flight but backed down. He was arrested after attempting to stab the pilot with an emergency axe during the flight, and he was subdued by the passengers and crew. It was found that the assistant believed he might carry out similar attacks or hijackings and had previously operated flights to Tel Aviv. The investigations are still ongoing to determine his motives, especially after sources confirmed possible connections to Australia, where he had previously studied.
