Al-Jamil Calls for Lebanese Sovereignty Independence

The head of the Lebanese Kataeb Party, MP Sami Gemayel, affirmed that Lebanon faces a historic opportunity to build an independent and sovereign state. He called on the government to decisively implement initial decisions to distance itself from Hezbollah’s and Iran’s tutelage. He urged the liberation of Lebanon from Iranian influence, considering that the solution begins with the government seriously translating these decisions. The Lebanese people aspire to live in freedom and security, and this should be Lebanon's last wars. He also emphasized that the problem is no longer just Hezbollah, but is directly linked to Iran, and that the state needs to adopt a clear stance and correct the situation to restore stability and sovereignty.
