Beirut sets waste and cargo hours

A decision has been issued by the Beirut Municipality to regulate waste disposal and cargo loading times, aiming to enhance public cleanliness, safety, and improve traffic flow in the capital. Commercial, tourism, and service establishments are requested to dispose of waste between 8 PM and 2 AM, and to unload and load cargo between 7 PM and 7 AM, along with other specified periods. It is prohibited to leave waste outside designated times or beside the containers. The relevant authorities are monitoring the implementation of these measures to ensure the city's civic appearance. Two streets have been designated as strict models to evaluate the results, with plans to extend the experience to other areas later on.
