Exhibition Highlights State Authority Extension
Prime Minister Nawar Salameh emphasized that Lebanon is the homeland of all its children and possesses a democratic parliamentary system based on the separation and balance of powers. During the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Between the Lines of the Constitution," commemorating the hundredth anniversary of the Lebanese Constitution, he underscored the importance of fully implementing the Taif Agreement and addressing the gaps revealed through practice to protect sovereignty and the rule of law. He highlighted the necessity of ending the balances that hinder the country's development and the implementation of political reforms. He also pointed out that Taif focused on establishing the state's authority over all its territories, which is the foundation of true statehood. He called for addressing the challenges that prevent achieving these goals and for activating state institutions to strengthen Lebanon's unity and independence.
