Kaya Calas Arrives in Lebanon

European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, and the EU's High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, will visit Lebanon on October 7-8. During the visit, they will meet with several officials, including Minister of Social Affairs Haneen Sabbagh, President Michel Aoun, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Nohad Machnouk, and Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib. They will also participate in a ceremony to deliver equipment under the European Peace Mechanism and accompany the Transport Minister on a visit to the Port of Beirut.
