Israel's new doctrine on Gaza, Lebanon, Syria

The article focused on the shifts in the Israeli military and security doctrine following the October 7 war. It showed that, despite the availability of advanced technologies, the events led to the collapse of its military system, prompting the army to reevaluate its strategy. The current adjustments include increasing the number of troops and reserves, expanding the depth of defenses in Gaza and Lebanon, establishing deeper security zones, and changing the nature of operations in the West Bank with an emphasis on creating control zones before threats materialize. The report also indicates that this new doctrine requires substantial resources and faces significant human challenges, and is still in the process of deep reconstruction to better respond to future surprises.
