Party explosives details uncovered
A total of 780 kilograms of explosives were seized, including 216 kilograms of "C4" and 281 kilograms of "Tetryl." The confiscation took place at the Dahr El-Baidar checkpoint. The shipment, which was coming from the Baalbek hills and heading toward the southern suburbs of Beirut, contained highly explosive materials as well as other items such as nails and small containers. It was transported via a Honda car, based on preliminary investigations. Investigations are ongoing to uncover the details of the shipment, who was supposed to receive it, and to identify those responsible for its transportation, as part of security efforts to dismantle trafficking networks and prevent explosives from reaching their destination.
