The third category involves residents whose residence permits have expired. They can update their employment status via digital platforms if their travel documents are valid, without needing to visit government offices. The fourth category consists of individuals who have been absent from work but possess valid travel documents. Their statuses will be corrected by canceling the unauthorized absence reports and transferring their services to new employers. The passports authority has established centers across various regions to facilitate the correction procedures, in response to the directives of King Salman and in coordination with government agencies, as part of Saudi Arabia’s support for the Yemeni people.
