Lebanese Contractors Continue Strike Until Deployment Approved

The adjunct professors' committee at the Lebanese University announced the continuation of the strike until the tenure file is approved. This decision comes after a survey involving approximately 800 professors showed that over 90% support this action, expressing their frustration with the procrastination and repeated promises from the government, which had previously pledged to approve the file without any results. The committee fully holds the Ministry of Education and the government responsible for the ongoing crisis and its impact on the academic year. They call for the immediate approval of the file to ensure the professors' rights and to unite them with their permanent colleagues and the full-time professors' union in a comprehensive strike to defend the university's dignity and its future.
