Couple detained over drug house in Abi Sbeih

The Internal Security Forces in Tripoli managed to arrest a couple inside an apartment in the Abi Smaar area, after they monitored it as a delivery point for drugs to dealers within a local network involved in drug smuggling and distribution. During a raid on the apartment, more than 3 kilograms of cannabis, 32 grams of crack cocaine, 18 grams of cocaine, and 59 grams of Captagon pills were confiscated, along with cash and mobile phones. The detained individuals, from Beirut and Syria, are wanted under judicial warrants for drug-related charges. An ongoing investigation aims to identify other involved parties within the network and dismantle all its branches, as part of a broad security campaign to crack down on smuggling rings and drug trafficking in the region.
