Lady of the Mountain explosives linked to 2004 assassinations

The "Sayyeda El Jabal" Association held its weekly meeting in Ashrafieh both in person and online. The attendees issued a statement expressing their full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against the terrorist Houthi attacks, and called for Lebanese, Arab, Islamic, and international support for Riyadh. They also praised the efforts of Lebanese security forces in thwarting attempts to smuggle large quantities of explosives destined to travel from Bekaa to Beirut, explosives that have been used in assassinations and assassination attempts since 2004. The statement emphasized that these smuggling attempts are consistent with government decisions that prohibit the possession, transfer, and use of weapons in Lebanon.
