Marqus Discusses Media Law at Amman Conference

Minister of Information Dr. Paul Marcus participated in the "Future of Media and Communications" conference in Amman, organized by the Center for "Protection and Freedom of Journalists" in partnership with the European Union. The conference focused on enhancing Arab cooperation in areas such as developing media legislation, combating hate speech, and addressing media misinformation, highlighting Lebanon's recent experience in updating media laws and discussing the case of the disappearance of videographer Samir Kassab. He also met with his Syrian counterpart and the Lebanese community, and honored efforts to develop Lebanon’s television and radio sectors, as well as updating the national media archive.
