Sheikh Damoush affirms commitment to resistance

Sheikh Ali Damoush, head of Hezbollah's Executive Council, affirmed that the resistance of the Lebanese people continues and remains cohesive in confronting Israeli occupation. He stated that it is an intrinsic part of the people's identity and the foundation of their resilience. He pointed out that past experiences and the humiliations suffered by the people at the hands of the occupation demonstrate that resistance, rooted in the will of the people, remains a vital and secure element in facing Israeli threats. He also said that the Lebanese authorities have abdicated national sovereignty and signed a "deed of sale for the land," which has contributed to entrenching the occupation in the south. He called on the state to handle reconstruction projects and the housing of refugees responsibly and free from political calculations, emphasizing that this issue is a national and moral responsibility.
