Salam Given Rights Memo on UNIFIL Amid Presidential Warnings

The article discusses the continuation of UNIFIL troops in southern Lebanon and the importance of maintaining international coverage to ensure stability. He warned of the repercussions of withdrawing before the complete withdrawal of the Israeli occupation, highlighting the vital role the forces play in maintaining security and supporting the Lebanese resistance. These parliamentary and governmental efforts coincide with threats and tensions along the borders, as Lebanon seeks to prevent any security vacuum that could allow territorial gains for the occupation before the Lebanese army is fully deployed along the border. Meanwhile, concerns among political and popular circles are escalating over the ongoing Israeli threats.
