Zelensky asks Musk to restore Starlink

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for lifting restrictions on the "Starlink" network, which Kyiv relies on for its military operations against Russian forces, especially after SpaceX slowed down the system during the recent escalation. This slowdown disrupted communications on the fronts and endangered the lives of civilians and soldiers. Zelensky urged Elon Musk to restart the network, emphasizing that cutting off the service is a serious mistake and poses a risk to people's lives as a result. Ukrainian officials confirmed that the United States contributed to reducing the network's speed without warning of Russian strikes, which hampers air defense and impedes the Ukrainian military's operations.
