No concessions at Industry Ministry sit-in

The Public Administration Employees' Union in Lebanon organized a sit-in in front of the Ministry of Industry to demand their rights, most notably fair salaries and transportation allowances of no less than 10 liters daily. The union president, Riad Hamada, confirmed that this action reflects their firm commitment to their rights and dignity, and that they will not retreat or compromise on them. He also stated their readiness to escalate measures if delays continue. The protesters are calling for clear decisions and swift implementation of their demands, which include fair wages, equitable transportation allowances, a decent life for public sector employees, and the enactment of a just retirement law.
