Lebanon Remembers with Joint Prayer

Under the title "October 13th Memorial," clergy from all denominations delivered a joint prayer emphasizing Lebanon's unity and the importance of maintaining its sovereignty and independence amidst the challenges of seditions, betrayal, and divisions. The speech addressed the role of the events of October 13 and 17 in resisting occupation and conspiracy against Lebanese legitimacy, while reaffirming the great sacrifices made by martyrs to preserve Lebanon. Participants also stressed the necessity of recalling the heroism of those who fought, safeguarding the unity of institutions and the nation, and working to ensure the continuation of the struggle and the defense of a homeland suffering from internal and external threats—guaranteeing the blood of the martyrs and realizing the dream of a free and sovereign Lebanon.
