Israeli Reports of Lebanese Army-Hezbollah Coordination

The Israeli army claims that the Lebanese army has not sufficiently committed to removing weapons and military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah from southern Lebanon, according to the 2024 understandings. This has allowed the group to enhance its military capabilities and activities. They pointed out that operations carried out by the Lebanese army in 2025 did not weaken Hezbollah’s abilities or halt its activities. Hezbollah continued to use a facility in Kfara for storing and transporting weapons after it was targeted by Israel. Israel has accused the Lebanese army of coordinating with Hezbollah, asserting that such coordination hampers efforts to disarm the group. Israel also confirmed that it is monitoring Hezbollah’s attempts to rebuild its military capabilities and accused the group of dragging Lebanon into war and supporting Iran by launching rocket shells.
