Karky Discusses Trade Support with Nabatieh Delegation

A delegation from the Nabatieh Traders Association met with the Director-General of the National Social Security Fund, Mohammad Karky, to discuss the difficult economic and security situation in Nabatieh, resulting from the almost daily Israeli attacks on South Lebanon. The traders called for exemptions and facilitation measures for businesses affected by direct or indirect damages, as well as exceptional procedures to prevent penalties on institutions due to declining activity. They also requested a temporary reduction in the number of subscriptions in line with reduced working hours. Karky expressed his support for these demands and quickly instructed his team to study appropriate solutions to address the issues, reaffirming his support alongside institutions and families in their resilience efforts and in securing the basic necessities for living.
