British Navy reports tanker attacked off Oman
The British Navy announced that a tanker was struck by an unidentified projectile off the coast of Oman, leading to a fire that was later extinguished. They confirmed that all crew members are safe. The waters around Oman, near the Strait of Hormuz— a vital passage for the global transportation of oil and gas— make this incident of significant strategic importance.
