Lebanese University Employees Call for Transparency

The executive committee of the Lebanese University Professors Association believes that delaying the approval of the file for the tenure of adjunct professors continues to keep them in a state of injustice and job instability. It also weakens the university's ability to fulfill its mission in higher education and scientific research. They emphasized that the issue has become an urgent national and academic priority and must be decided upon based on criteria of competence, seniority, and necessity, with transparency and without favoritism. They called on the Council of Ministers to take immediate measures to approve the file and to monitor developments openly.
