Revolutionary Guard warns on Hormuz

Tensions are escalating in the Strait of Hormuz as Iran intensifies its campaign against foreign ships. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that fires broke out on three vessels after they were struck by a sea mine, and four oil-carrying ships in the area were hit. Iran also warned that the confrontation with the United States could extend to American bases if the escalation continues. On the other hand, Washington stated that there are currently no negotiations with Tehran and accuses Iran of attempting to drive up oil prices ahead of the U.S. elections through an escalation of attacks. An Iranian official confirmed that Iran's conditions for reopening the strait require the U.S. to fulfill seven demands, while Israel appears to be resuming military preparedness in the region.
