Manchester City sells Guardiola's items

Manchester City Club has put former coach Pep Guardiola’s belongings up for public auction, following his departure from the team at the end of the 2025-2026 season, in order to financially benefit from his historic legacy. The auction included personal coaching items such as the famous whistle, incense, his clothing, and commemorative memorabilia. Bids on some of the items reached high figures, such as 282 pounds for the whistle and 571 pounds for the souvenir pieces. Meanwhile, the Italian club appointed Enzo Mariska to lead the team in the 2026-2027 season, after he previously served as Guardiola’s assistant. Additionally, there have been rumors of negotiations for Guardiola to take over as the coach of the Italian national team.
