Al Ahly signs Algerian striker

The Egyptian Al Ahly club announced the signing of Algerian striker Abdel Monsef by decision of Dinamo Zagreb of Croatia, on a three-season contract. His career began at the Sétif Football Academy in Algeria, then he transferred to Istra in Croatia in 2022, followed by a move to New York City in the United States after a year, before joining Dinamo Zagreb in 2025. Abdel Monsef has participated in 42 matches with the Croatian club, scoring 18 goals and providing 7 assists. He has also played 7 international matches for Algeria. He is considered the sixth signing for Al Ahly during the current summer transfer window.
