He noted that the sports sector experienced significant development in 2026, with the number of employees in clubs reaching 11,115, of whom 73% are Saudis, including 622 Saudi female employees. Additionally, over 585 million riyals have been allocated to support and develop the sector—438 million for the unified points system, 48 million for sports incentives, and 99 million for increasing spectator attendance.
