Quran Memorization Contest with over 1 million riyals and 334 participants

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance of Saudi Arabia, represented by the General Secretariat of the King Abdul Aziz International Quran Memorization Competition, has announced cash prizes totaling over 10.26 million Riyals for 334 contestants from 133 countries who participated in the 46th edition. Each participant received a reward of 5,000 Riyals to encourage the memorization, recitation, and interpretation of the Holy Quran. This initiative is part of the ministry’s efforts to support and empower participants and to strengthen the position of the Quran in the Kingdom and worldwide. The competition saw an increase in the number of winners, reaching 50. This initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s longstanding commitment to the Quran and its people, from the early stages of participation through to the final rounds.
